256mb geforce 5500 video card doesn't run warcraft 3 in my monitor?

ive got this new 256mb video card nvidia geforce 5500, i installed the software and changed the resolution to 1024x768, with 32 bit color quality, and when i tried to open warcraft 3, my monitor goes to standby mode, like it turned to black and didnt showed warcraft 3, i tried pressing alt + f4 to quit warcraft 3, and the monitor returns back to normal

how can i fix this to run warcraft 3 normally, before i have my 32 mb video card, my wc3 runs correctly, and my wc3 resolution is 1024 x 768, while this new video card, it doesnt runs wc3 normally...please help

    It sounds like Warcraft’s resolution(which is separate from your desktop’s resolution) is too high for your monitor to support. If World of Warcraft has a safe mode of sorts that allows you to reset it’s resolution I would use it to reset WoW to it’s base resolution.
