300watt power supply for graphic card help?

i have a vista home premium and im purchasing a XFX Radeon HD 4550 / 512MB / PCI Express 2.0 / Graphics Card and i want to know where i can buy a power supply to put on this as i need 300watt minimum.. honestly i have no idea what to do and i need some adivse or a link to a good power supply (people that know what there talking about only) thanks :)

    Well, you really don’t need 300 watts for the Radeon 4550, it actually runs fine on systems with 250W (ATI overstates the power requirements on their cards to play it VERY safe).

    However, if you currently have a power supply below 300W, I recommend upgrading to at least 400W power supply so you’ll have ample breathing room for any future upgrades.

    Note that the Radeon 4550 is strictly a card for basic use and watching movies/photos, it’s too slow for gaming. The minimum card for playing games would be a Radeon 4650.

    just go to tigerdirect.com or newegg.com and get it there.

    300 is minimal. get a 450 – 500 to be safe. dont over spend.

    just be sure the wires coming out of the power supply match what you need for your harddrive and motherboard meaning if your harddrive is a IDE, be sure you have a IDE wire coming out of the power supply and if your mother board needs the extra 4 pin power supply plug, be sure the power supply has that too.
