7950GT Graphics card help?
I just purchased a 7950GT video card from NVIDIA, however it appears that the card is too big to fit in my AGP slot. Is there anything I can do to fix this?
I am not an amateur in computers here. The bus is AGP, not PCI Express, and the voltage has nothing to do with it. When I said the card doesn't fit, I meant there is bulk on the underside of the chip that interferes with my audio card; it is too wide. What I'm asking is if there is anything i can do to slim it down a bit to fit.

It may be that you card slot is only a 4x speed which is a different voltage. see here. http://i.ehow.com/images/GlobalPhoto/Articles/2110128/agp-slots_Full.jpg

I believe the 7950GT is pci-e only do to the bandwidth limitations of AGP. You bought an incompatible card. You basically bought a circle to fit in a square hole.
