(Graphic cards problem) No compatible drivers are found to match my current hardware?

I installed a Graphic Card, GeForce for example, but there was an error on setup saying that no driver can be installed that matches my harware. Then the setup closes. Sorry, I'm not really familiar with things like this. But I need to have a card installed.
What do you think should I do?

First, I suggest you to know your exact card model (without for example!). Once you get that by reading what’s written on the card chip (VPU) or on the retailer box (or whatever way you like), I guarantee you I can send you the link for its driver.

If you feel you can’t identify your card exact model, you may go to http://www.driverguidetoolkit.com/ and download this toolkit. You may need a free registration for that.

This toolkit really really helps to identify unknown devices (Modems/VGAs…) It also enables you to download the appropriate driver + manufacturer website.

But at least identify your card first. I can help later on.

    Cheers

you need to place the cdrom that comes with it. it’s the driver for the graphic card. then when your system starts searching for the driver, direct it to the cdrom.

some cdrom has an autorun function that can let you choose to install the driver once you place the cd inside your drive.
